Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated

June 27th, 2009

I haven’t died. I’ve just been the metaphorical noble gas (lazy and inert). So what’s been going on since I last made a real post…

  • We’ve upgraded from the apartment to the house.  Still rented, but now the rental seems more personal.
  • I finally got a prime lens (50mm f/1.8).  Its yet to be determined if I utilize it like I should.
  • Summer has finally arrived and we’ve been to the beach enough times to stop complaining that we don’t go to the beach enough.
  • Approximately 6 million ‘How well do you know _______’ quizes on Facebook.  I feel like I know everyone even less now than I did before.
  • 17 gallons of paint, and one can of paint stripper.  Not a bad ratio.
  • After 4 months of weight watching, I’ve watched my weight rise one pound.  I watched it through every ounce.

Here are some recent pictures to catch everyone back up:

I thought for sure having their own rooms would be a hit. I guess not.

Will, I really like reading your comments and seeing your photos equally as much as I do Jess’ – you should write more and more often (even though you do have to make reference with such unsettling monikers such as the wife, the boy, the girl…) Oh yeah, and get yourself back on that weight chart – don’t give up, I was rooting for you! (Rarely, do I make comments like this – I’ve only made one on Jess’, but I always read – so I look forward to more from you.)

Congrats on the new lens and new house… and new pound.
